Southwest Dancers, Song, dance, storytelling .......

Based in southern Colorado our dance troupe travels to the New England area in early May and the Mid-Atlantic region in mid -May.  In October we visit Missouri and Kansas.  In November we are in Washington D.C. , Virginia and Maryland.

In 2020, we look forward to hosting school groups on the grounds of our cultural center in Colorado

On 40 acres of pristine land, we offer survival skill workshops.

These include fire making, bow classes, wild plant foraging, natural shelter construction

School visits:     Our educational presentations include one half hour of Native American pow -wow dance demonstrations, 15 minutes of storytelling and a 15 minute hands on animal pelt display

We encourage the students and teachers to engage in a question and answer session.

Our presenters are native people from various nations (tribes).

Our presentations focus on the the diversity of our native cultures
